തണുപ്പുള്ള രാത്രിയിൽ,
മുറ്റത്തു മഴത്തുള്ളി,
താളം ചവുട്ടുമ്പോൾ…..
മഴയുടെ തോഴിയായ് ,
കൂടെയണഞ്ഞൊരു,
കുളിർകാറ്റിൻ വിരലുകൾ,
മെല്ലെ തലോടുമ്പോൾ…….
ജനാലയ്ക്കരികിൽ,
നേർത്തൊരു പുതപ്പിനുള്ളിൽ,
കഴുത്തോളം മൂടിപ്പുതച്ച്,
പുഞ്ചിരിയേകും,
സ്വപ്നങ്ങളും കണ്ട്,
നിദ്രയേ പുല്കാൻ എന്തു രസം ……….
ഉണർന്നിരിക്കവേ
നേടാൻ കൊതിച്ചത്
ഉറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ സ്വപ്നത്തിൽv നേടിതരുന്നതല്ലോ
സുഖമാമീ നിദ്ര …….
ഷീണിച്ചൊരോ ദേഹിയേയും
ശക്തമാകും ദേവാനുഗ്രഹമല്ലോ
സുഖമാമീ നിദ്ര……
ഗാഢമാം നിദ്രയിൽ
സ്വയം മറന്നലിയുവാൻ
കൊതിക്കാത്ത
മനസ്സുകളുണ്ടോ പാരിൽ !
